This month, we will learn about Yin Yoga.
Yin yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive postures. Approaching the postures with focused awareness and gentleness offers a wide range of benefits for your body as well as your mind & spirit.
Much of our lives are spent in high gear. This class gives you permission to slow down the movement of the mind and allow the body to rest and relax.
Yin yoga is beneficial for:
-Increasing circulation and improves flexibility
-Calming and balancing the mind and body
-Reducing stress and anxiety
-Encouraging deeper relaxation
-Improving joint mobility
